Salt Mine, Location #79
A downloadable demo for Windows and macOS
Salt Mine, Location 79 is a first-person exploration walking sim, set in an pre-apocalyptic (or is it post-apocalyptic) worksite--the so called Location 79, a salt mine and salt field. You play as the Barista, the very important soul who fuels all the miners with coffee and keeps up their tools. Explore Location 79.

This project was made as my final Connecting Experience for completing the Digital Arts and Media Bridging Disciplines Program certificate, at the University of Texas at Austin.
Initially called: “Beautiful Corner - Concept Art and Hard-Surface Modeling.” Making a beautiful corner is in reference to a games-industry practice, whereupon developers flesh out and fully render one small piece of a game world. This high-quality slice is a standard-bearer for the rest of the project--the whole game should match its fidelity.
